Georgia Lands Three in 2026 NFL Draft Top 50 Including One Shocking Name

Georgia's pipeline to the pros stays strong as multiple Bulldogs earn high marks in ESPNs early 2026 NFL Draft rankings.

With the college all-star circuit wrapped and draft boards starting to take real shape, NFL Draft analyst Jordan Reid has rolled out his updated top 50 prospects for the 2026 NFL Draft-and Georgia fans will recognize a few familiar names. Three Bulldogs cracked the list, each bringing a unique skill set and NFL upside that has scouts paying close attention.

Monroe Freeling: Rising Fast at Left Tackle

Leading the Georgia trio is offensive tackle Monroe Freeling, who lands at No. 24 overall and ranks as the No. 4 tackle prospect in the class. Freeling’s rise has been steady, and it’s easy to see why. Thrust into action in 2024 due to injuries, he used that early experience as a springboard into a strong 2025 campaign as a full-time starter.

Freeling checks the boxes physically-NFL evaluators love his size-but it’s his footwork and agility that have really turned heads. He moves well in space and shows flashes of high-level pass protection, though there’s still room to grow.

His range and base can be inconsistent at times, and he’ll need to clean up his pad level in the run game. But when you’re talking about a true left tackle prospect with this kind of athletic profile and starting experience in the SEC, you’re talking about a player who could climb even higher as the pre-draft process unfolds.

Freeling played in all 14 games last season, starting 13. The only game he didn’t start was against Auburn due to injury-but even then, he was back on the field after the first offensive series.

That kind of toughness and reliability doesn’t go unnoticed. He earned Second Team All-SEC honors from the league’s coaches and finished his Georgia career with 35 appearances and 17 starts.

CJ Allen: The Heart of the Defense

Linebacker CJ Allen comes in at No. 35 overall and ranks third among linebackers in Reid’s rankings. Allen took a big step forward in his second year running the middle of Kirby Smart’s defense, and it showed in just about every phase of the game.

Allen plays with quick instincts and sideline-to-sideline range. He reads run plays well, sifts through traffic, and delivers a pop when he arrives.

He’s not just a hitter-he wraps up and finishes plays. And while his zone coverage skills are still developing, he’s made noticeable progress in reading route concepts and putting himself in position to make plays on the ball.

The numbers back up the tape. Allen led Georgia in tackles this season with 85, including 8 for loss and 4.5 sacks.

He added an interception, 11 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery. That stat line helped him earn First Team All-America honors from the FWAA and Second Team nods from both the AFCA and Walter Camp.

He started all 12 games he played in 2025 and was the clear leader of the Bulldogs’ defense.

Christen Miller: Versatile, Powerful, and Still Developing

Rounding out the trio is defensive lineman Christen Miller, who lands at No. 38 overall and fifth among interior defensive linemen. At 6-foot-4 and 310 pounds, Miller brings the kind of size and strength that NFL teams covet on the interior. He’s versatile, too, having played across multiple spots on Georgia’s defensive front.

Miller is stout against the run. He can anchor, shed blocks, and reset the line of scrimmage.

While he’s still refining his pass-rush technique-his hands can be a bit wild and his pad level inconsistent-there’s clear upside. With more reps and coaching, Miller has the tools to develop into a reliable starter at either defensive tackle spot in the league.

Over his Georgia career, Miller appeared in 43 games, recording 64 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, and four sacks. He may not have the same polish as some other prospects in this class, but the raw power and positional flexibility make him a name to watch as teams look to shore up their defensive lines.

Other Georgia Standouts

While Freeling, Allen, and Miller cracked the top 50, two other Bulldogs lead the way at their respective positions. Oscar Delp is ranked as the top h-back in the class, and Brett Thorson holds the No. 1 spot among punters.

As the draft cycle heats up, Georgia once again proves it's not just a college football powerhouse-it’s a pipeline to the pros. And with multiple players poised to hear their names called early, the Bulldogs’ NFL footprint is only getting bigger.
