Georgia opened as a 2.5-point favorite over Alabama back in June. That spread has since moved to four points, and that matters because Georgia is the road team. In other words, oddsmakers are not just leaning toward the Bulldogs - they’re leaning hard.

It gets even starker when you stack Georgia-Alabama next to another SEC rivalry. Alabama is a 10.5-point favorite over Auburn in the Iron Bowl, which means the market sees the gap between Georgia and Alabama as roughly the same as the gap between Alabama and Auburn.
That’s the kind of number that raises eyebrows.
