Georgia Bulldogs Spark Buzz With Offer to Rising Tennessee Standout

As Georgia ramps up recruiting during offer season, top young prospects from across the U.S.-and even overseas-are taking notice of what makes Athens a destination for future stars.

Georgia Football Turns Up the Heat on the Recruiting Trail with Key 2027 and 2029 Targets

It’s offer season in Athens, and Kirby Smart’s staff is wasting no time identifying future Bulldogs. With the recruiting machine humming, Georgia is casting a wide net across the country-and even overseas-as it builds out its next wave of talent. Let’s take a closer look at three names who’ve recently received offers from the reigning SEC champs and could be part of Georgia’s next dominant roster.

Dallas Pauldo: A Two-Way Force from Tennessee

Up in Tennessee, there’s a name rising fast on recruiting boards: Dallas Pauldo. At 6-foot-5 and 245 pounds, Pauldo is a versatile athlete who lines up on both sides of the ball-and makes a serious impact doing it. Georgia defensive line coach Tray Scott extended an offer to the standout recently, and it marked Pauldo’s first from an SEC program.

Pauldo didn’t hide his excitement.

“I was called to the office and saw Coach Scott and everybody there. I instantly knew what was about to happen, but to hear the actual words just sealed the deal,” he said.

“I had to call my folks at work and let them know... it was a blur the rest of the day. Lots of emotions, but very happy to be offered an opportunity to play for Georgia.”

This wasn’t just another offer-it was a milestone moment for Pauldo, who understands the weight that comes with wearing the “G.”

“I know that Georgia ball is legendary,” he added. “Decades of great coaches and players who made it to the next level. I know enough to say being a part of the UGA football program is not to be taken lightly.”

On the field, Pauldo’s production speaks for itself. He racked up 33 tackles and four sacks on defense while also hauling in 21 catches for 209 yards and two touchdowns as a tight end. That kind of versatility-and size-makes him a unique prospect with serious upside.

Julius Odenthal: A German Giant with Bulldog Ties

Georgia’s recruiting reach has gone global in recent years, and it’s paying off. The Bulldogs have had success with international prospects like JJ Hane and Valdin Sone, and now they’ve got their eyes on another overseas standout: Julius Odenthal.

Odenthal is a 6-foot-5, 290-pound lineman from Germany who played this past season at The Pennington School in New Jersey. Still just a freshman, he’s already turning heads as a dominant force at left tackle. Georgia’s staff has taken notice-and so has Odenthal.

“I was really excited to get the Georgia offer because they’re one of my favorite schools,” he said. “The organization I work with (PPI Recruits) already has two DTs playing at Georgia, and I was there for a gameday visit this year for the game against Texas with PPI founder Brandon Collier. I really liked the facilities and the atmosphere in the stadium.”

Odenthal is still early in his development, but the physical tools are undeniable. With a frame built for SEC trenches and a growing knowledge of the game, he’s one to watch closely in the 2029 class.

“I also know that Georgia has developed a lot of professional players and they believe in being physical,” Odenthal added. That mindset fits right in with the culture Kirby Smart has built in Athens.

Anthony Jennings: Florida Speedster with Big-Play Ability

Down in Florida, Georgia has its sights set on a game-breaking wide receiver. Anthony Jennings, a four-star prospect in the 2027 class, recently picked up an offer from the Bulldogs-and he’s exactly the kind of player who can stretch a defense.

Jennings brings elite speed, clean hands, and the ability to flip a game in a single play. Whether it’s burning corners on deep routes or making an impact in the return game, he’s a dynamic threat every time he touches the ball.

“I was very happy and excited when I got the big-time offer,” Jennings said. “I know they are a top SEC program that develops college players really well.”

The numbers back up the hype. In just eight games last season, Jennings caught 34 passes for 823 yards and 11 touchdowns.

That’s an average of over 24 yards per catch-proof that he’s not just a possession guy; he’s a home-run hitter. He’s currently ranked as the No. 33 wide receiver and No. 265 overall prospect in the 2027 cycle.

Final Thoughts

Georgia’s recruiting board is always loaded, but what’s clear right now is that the Bulldogs are focused on both immediate impact players and long-term development projects. Whether it’s a two-way athlete from Tennessee, a towering lineman from Germany, or a speedster from Florida, the Dawgs are making smart, calculated moves to stay ahead of the curve.

This isn’t just about adding talent-it’s about building the next great Georgia team. And if these offers are any indication, the future in Athens is still looking very, very bright.
