Florida State Lands Visit From Electric South Florida Wide Receiver

One of South Floridas most dynamic pass catchers is mapping out a pivotal recruitment journey with top programs lined up for official visits.

Anthony Jennings, a dynamic wide receiver out of Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Dillard, is starting to map out the next few months of his recruitment-and the itinerary is packed with heavy hitters. The 6-foot, 165-pound pass catcher has locked in four official visits, and yes, Florida State is on the list.

Jennings is set to be in Tallahassee the weekend of June 19th, giving the Seminoles an opportunity to make a strong in-person impression. FSU extended an offer back in January 2025, and head coach Mike Norvell, along with members of the staff, made the trip to see him again this January-clear signs that he’s firmly on their radar.

But the ‘Noles aren’t the only program getting face time. Jennings will kick off his official visits with a stop at Georgia on May 29th, followed by Florida on June 4th and Auburn on June 12th. That’s a run through some of the SEC’s most competitive recruiting territories, and it speaks volumes about the caliber of programs lining up for his commitment.

While there aren’t any Crystal Ball predictions yet on 247Sports.com, the recruiting industry is clearly paying attention. Jennings is listed as the No. 100 wide receiver in the class by 247Sports, but the Composite Rankings are even more bullish-slotting him as a four-star talent, No. 213 overall, and the No. 29 wide receiver nationally.

That kind of discrepancy between individual and composite rankings isn’t uncommon, especially for players who are still rising through the evaluation process. Jennings has the kind of speed and separation ability that can turn heads quickly, especially once he gets in front of coaches during visits and camps.

With four major visits on deck and no public favorites just yet, Jennings’ recruitment is shaping up to be one worth watching deep into the summer.
