Panthers Just Unveiled A New Look Tied To South Florida Pride

Witness the Florida Panthers' tribute to South Florida's vibrant culture with the unveiling of the Hometown Remix uniform collection, a stunning collaboration with Fanatics and the NHL.

The Florida Panthers have a new look built around South Florida itself.

On Monday, the club, the NHL and Fanatics introduced the Panthers’ Hometown Remix uniform, a special edition design that ties the team’s identity to the fans, fabric and culture of the region. It is part of a league-wide rollout involving all 32 teams and comes after a two-year development process with Fanatics, the NHL’s on-ice uniform provider.

The Panthers will debut the jersey tonight against the Detroit Red Wings at Amerant Bank Arena, and the uniform will be worn 10 times during the 2026-27 season. The full slate includes Nov. 2 vs.

Detroit, Nov. 4 vs. Chicago, Nov. 28 vs.

Tampa Bay, Dec. 19 vs. Calgary, Dec. 26 vs.

Tampa Bay, Jan. 2 vs. Montreal, Jan. 16 vs.

Las Vegas, Feb. 13 vs. Dallas, March 6 vs.

Toronto and March 27 vs. Philadelphia.

The design leans hard into the South Florida feel. It uses the Panthers’ classic jersey silhouette, then layers in a sunrise-inspired palette of coral, yellow and orange meant to reflect a South Florida morning. The front crest is a remixed version of the throwback Panthers shoulder patch logo, while the sleeves carry the ‘90s sunrise pattern and the Panthers logo in fresh colors.

The team’s own description of the jersey leaves no doubt about the vibe it is chasing: “Tropical sunrise colors. Picture-perfect postcard energy. ‘90s graphic vibes.

It’s all coming together in a uniform that has peak South Florida aura. This jersey is about the place we call home, the colors that reflect off the water every morning, and the progress that follows for anyone awake to see it.

Taking cues from your favorite graphic beach tee, the front crest is a remixed version of the throwback Panthers shoulder patch logo. The sleeves continue the ‘90s sunrise pattern, topped off with the Panthers logo, styled in fresh colors.

Wear it to games, cruises, and sandbar hangs. This jersey is designed for the kind of life most people only dream about.

South Florida life.”

Panthers President of Business Operations Michael White said, “We’re so excited for our fans to see our Hometown Remix jersey and the merchandise collection that pairs with it," said Panthers President of Business Operations Michael White. "The design is inspired by and embraces South Florida’s sunrise colors and the city we call home. It’s a tribute to our community and a celebration of its unique and vibrant culture.”

The NHL framed the project as part of a broader effort to connect each team’s sweater to its market. Brian Jennings, NHL Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Partnerships and Club Strategy Officer, said, “Few symbols in sports carry the history, pride, and emotional connection of an NHL sweater,” said Brian Jennings, NHL Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Partnerships and Club Strategy Officer.

“Hometown Remix builds on that legacy in a fresh and authentic way, celebrating the fans, culture and communities that make each NHL market unique. Together with Fanatics and our Clubs, we’ve created designs that are rooted in local identity and tell a story about the cities and fans they represent.

We’re incredibly excited to bring the program to life and see that passion reflected both on the ice and in the stands.”

Fanatics also pointed to the collaboration behind the project. Dom Fillion, Vice President of Creative Design for Fanatics, said, “Hometown Remix represents the most exciting initiative our team has designed and delivered with our partners since we hit the ice with the NHL in 2024,” said Dom Fillion, Vice President of Creative Design for Fanatics.

“What makes this program so special is the collaboration with each club and together leaning into the history, culture, fabric and identity of every city and fan base to make sure these felt as authentic and personal as possible. We can’t wait to see them worn by the teams on the ice and the fans in the stands all season long.”

Panthers Let Another Tight Atlantic Game Slip Away

Another tight Atlantic matchup got away from Florida on a night when the Panthers had enough offense to stay in it but not enough to close it out. Sam Reinhart and Sam Bennett both found the net for Florida, and Aaron Ekblad added a short-handed goal that gave the Panthers a needed spark, but the game stayed within reach deep into the third period.

Detroit finally separated itself with a quick burst early in the final frame, turning a one-goal game into a bigger problem for Florida. Daniil Tarasov backed that up with 23 saves, and the Panthers were left to sort through another loss in a division race where every missed chance seems to matter a little more. [Read more 🡒]

Carrollwood Days Perfect Season Still Leaves One Brutal Playoff Doubt

Carrollwood Day wrapped up a perfect regular season at 10-0, but the Patriots still find themselves in an uncomfortable spot as the Florida Open Division playoff picture tightens. The latest MaxPreps update has them just outside the projected eight-team field, with several familiar contenders clustered around the cutoff as the race for the final spots continues to shift.

Miami Central, Raines, Venice, Cardinal Newman and American Heritage are all part of the mix, and the margins are thin enough that one result can change the board in a hurry. Carrollwood Day has done everything asked of it on the field, including a road win over Cardinal Newman, but the final field will not be revealed until November 6, leaving one brutal question hanging over an otherwise spotless season. Panthers Get A Crucial Boost In Net At The Right Time

Jacob Markstrom is set to give the Panthers a timely lift in goal when they return home to face the Detroit Red Wings. Florida has been navigating his absence since he went on injured reserve with an upper-body injury suffered in practice, and the timing matters with the schedule moving back into a stretch where stability in net can make a real difference.

Akira Schmid has handled the crease in Markstroms place, keeping the Panthers afloat while they waited for their No. 1 option to get healthy again. Now the attention shifts to how quickly Markstrom can settle back in and whether Florida can use this home game to reestablish the kind of confidence in goal that tends to travel well over the long haul.
