Florida center Harrison Moore added another early-season honor to the Gators’ ledger Monday, when the Southeastern Conference named him Offensive Lineman of the Week after his work in Florida’s 44-39 win over Auburn in Week 3.
The recognition gives Florida its second SEC Player of the Week award in as many weeks to open the 2026 season. Last Monday, Gators wide receiver Vernell Brown III earned SEC Co-Special Teams Player of the Week honors for his Week 2 showing against Campbell.
Against Auburn, Moore was on the field for all 81 offensive snaps at center and turned in a dominant pass-protection performance. Pro Football Focus gave him a game-high pass blocking grade of 83.9, and he did not give up a sack, quarterback hit, quarterback hurry or quarterback pressure.
The early-season numbers have been just as strong overall. Moore has allowed only one quarterback hurry and one quarterback pressure this season, while posting a 99.3 pass blocking efficiency, according to PFF. He has also earned a 77.6 pass blocking grade and a 64.3 run blocking grade.
Through three games, Moore and Florida’s offensive line have produced a 71.3 run blocking grade, which ranks No. 19 in the FBS and No. 3 in the SEC. The unit has given up just two sacks and two quarterback hurries.
Moore arrived in Gainesville this offseason after transferring from Georgia Tech, following former Yellow Jackets and current Gators offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner, quarterback Aaron Philo, wide receiver Bailey Stockton and tight end Luke Harpring.
"It was fortunate that it worked out for the Gators. Harrison Moore is one of the toughest guys I've ever had a chance to coach," Faulkner said of Moore in August.
"You know, last two years, he played a lot for us as a freshman. I think he's now getting comfortable in his own skin.
When we first signed him, he was 265 pounds, so he's still putting on weight. He's much stronger than he was.
He's starting to become a leader, a lot more vocal, and that's very important for what we ask the center to do in this offense."
PFF credited Moore with not allowing a sack over 405 career snaps in pass protection at Georgia Tech. In 2025, he surrendered 15 quarterback pressures over 332 pass-blocking snaps, but only one over 73 reps in 2024. His run-blocking grades also tracked upward, with a 66.7 mark last season after a 69.0 grade the year before.
Before the season, Moore was placed on the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award watch list, which goes to the top offensive player in Division I college football who either graduated from a Texas high school or currently plays college football in Texas.
