Still, the biggest truth here is the one fans know best: uniforms only matter if the game does.
Florida’s 2023 all-black look is the perfect reminder. The uniforms themselves were solid enough, but that night will always be tied to Florida struggling to handle a field-goal sequence while KJ Jefferson ran wild against the defense.
That’s how these things stick. The outfit gets remembered because of what happened in it.
