From Tampa to Sarasota to Orlando, four-star prospects are taking notice of a staff that communicates consistently, evaluates with honesty, and exudes infectious energy.
"Everyone on the staff texts me," said Tampa Jesuit linebacker Kaden Henderson. "That means a lot. No other staff does that-only Florida."
Quarterback David Davidson praised head coach Jon Sumrall as "one of the most energetic coaches I've been around," noting that this energy permeates the entire facility.
Defensive linemen echoed these sentiments. Tyler Alexander highlighted the staff's consistency, while Maleek Lee commended position coach Gerald Chatman for his authenticity, saying he "doesn't try to fake talk."
The Gators are also focused on securing in-state talent, with special attention on prospects from Orlando, Jacksonville, and the Gulf Coast. Among them is 2028 edge rusher Asher Ghioto, who mentioned Florida's persistent interest in him as a top priority.
In a recruiting landscape dominated by SEC rivalry, Florida's strategy is clear: outwork, out-communicate, and out-develop the competition.
