Duke Medley Relay Teams Stun with All-America Honors at NCAA Championships

Duke's swimming stars shine at the NCAA Women's Championships, claiming All-America accolades and a strong team finish.

ATLANTA, Ga. - It was a night to remember for Duke swimming and diving as seniors Kaelyn Gridley and Tatum Wall, along with the formidable Blue Devil 200 and 400 medley relay teams, earned All-America honors at the 2026 NCAA Women's Championships.

The Duke women wrapped up the national meet with a total of 35 points, securing a tie for 21st place in the team standings.

STANDOUT PERFORMANCES

Kaelyn Gridley shone brightly, capturing a pair of individual All-America honors. Her crowning achievement came with a bronze medal in the 200-yard breaststroke, earning her first-team accolades.

Gridley clocked an impressive 2:05.24, marking the pinnacle of her collegiate career in her final swim as a Blue Devil. This performance capped off a stellar journey, with Gridley achieving First Team All-America honors every year throughout her time at Duke.

Not stopping there, Gridley also secured Second Team All-America status in the 100 breaststroke, finishing ninth with a time of 58.22.

Tatum Wall made her mark in the 50-yard freestyle, swimming a swift 21.75 to place 16th and earn Second Team All-America honors.

The Blue Devils' relay teams were equally impressive. The 200-yard and 400-yard medley relay squads, featuring junior Ali Pfaff, Gridley, rookie Heather White, and Wall, delivered standout performances. The quartet took 13th place in the 400 medley with a time of 3:29.59, and 16th in the 200 medley, clocking in at 1:36.22, both earning Second Team All-America accolades.

These performances not only highlight the depth of talent within the Duke program but also set a high bar for future Blue Devils to aspire to.
