DURHAM, N.C. - The Duke track and field team is gearing up to kick off their outdoor season at the High Point Bob Davidson Team Challenge this weekend. Set at Vert Stadium, this two-day meet on March 20-21 promises to be an exciting start for the Blue Devils.

Leading the charge is Morris Williams, Jr. Track & Field Director Shawn Wilbourn, now in his sixth season. Under his leadership, Duke has clinched four ACC Outdoor titles in the past five years, including their inaugural men's championship in 2025.
This weekend, Duke will showcase 36 talented student-athletes across a variety of events. The action begins on Friday with five field events, starting with the women's hammer throw at 10:30 a.m. On Saturday, the competition picks up with the men's pole vault at 9 a.m., and the women's 3000m steeplechase kicks off the track events at 1:30 p.m.
Returning to the outdoor scene are several standout performers from last season, including USTFCCCA All-Americans Braelyn Baker, Michael Bennett, Mia Edim, Christian Toro, and Gemma Tutton. These athletes are expected to bring their A-game, setting the tone for another promising season.
Next up, Duke will make their way to the Raleigh Relays at the Paul Derr Track & Field Facility from March 26-28, continuing their journey on Tobacco Road.
