The Green Bay Packers left Week 2 with a win, but Tucker Kraft made sure nobody in the building would mistake that for a clean bill of health.
After Green Bay’s 20-17 overtime victory over the New York Jets, the tight end delivered the kind of blunt message that cuts through the noise: “We can’t let a win mask our problems.” It was a simple line, but it said plenty about where this team stands right now.
Yes, the Packers got the result. And yes, the conditions were messy enough that a game like this could get ugly fast.
But that doesn’t erase the issues that have been building since Week 1 and showed up again in the comeback win over the Jets. Green Bay has execution problems in more than one area, and Kraft clearly isn’t interested in pretending otherwise.

Green Bay now turns to Week 3 and a matchup with the Atlanta Falcons, a game that looks like a chance to clean some things up. Atlanta has struggled through its first two games, which makes this an obvious opportunity for the Packers to address the issues Kraft is pointing to.
There’s also a bigger picture here. The Packers went from a late-game collapse in Week 1 to an overtime comeback in Week 2, so the trend line is better.
But the standard in Green Bay is still the standard, and Kraft’s comments made that clear. A win is a win, but it shouldn’t be used as cover for the problems that still need fixing.
