Cameron Johnson's first season with the Denver Nuggets has been a journey of adaptation. As the regular season winds down, Johnson acknowledges he's still navigating his role on the team.
“There’s still an element of figuring it out,” he shared, reflecting the ongoing process of adjustment.
However, signs of Johnson finding his rhythm are emerging. He's recently hit a stride, scoring at least 15 points in three consecutive games-only the second time he's achieved this feat this season.
Coach David Adelman has been guiding Johnson to focus on simplicity in his gameplay. “I think sometimes he’s trying to make perfect plays,” Adelman noted. “Instead of just making the play that’s right there in front of you.”
Looking ahead, Johnson faces a pivotal offseason, poised to further solidify his place within the Nuggets' lineup.
