The Boston Bruins roll into Dallas on Tuesday night with momentum humming and the calendar already offering a quick look at the next chapter.
Boston is 7-2 and brings a five-game winning streak into American Airlines Center, where it will face the Dallas Stars, who are 4-3-1 and have won their last two. The Bruins have been piling up convincing results during their run, beating the Utah Mammoth 6-1, the Philadelphia Flyers 5-1, the San Jose Sharks 6-3, the Anaheim Ducks 4-2, and the Los Angeles Kings 4-1.
Dallas is coming off a 4-0 win over the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday night. Boston’s most recent game was also Saturday, a 4-1 victory over the Los Angeles Kings.
This is the first of two meetings between the clubs this season. They’ll meet again on Jan. 14, 2027, at TD Garden in Boston.
The teams split last season’s series. Dallas opened it with a 6-2 win on Jan. 20 in Dallas, and Boston answered with a 6-3 victory on March 31 in Boston. That March 31 game was also the last time these teams saw each other.
Puck drop is set for Tuesday night, with radio coverage on 98.5 The Sports Hub in Boston and The Ticket 96.7-FM, 1310-AM in Dallas.
Boston’s early schedule has already produced a sharp mix of results. The Bruins opened with a 3-0 win over the New York Rangers on Sept. 29, then won at Winnipeg 4-3 in overtime on Oct. 2 before losses at Minnesota and against Ottawa. Since then, they’ve stacked up one win after another and now head into Dallas with their best stretch of the young season.
The Bruins’ upcoming slate continues after this trip: Nashville on Oct. 22, San Jose on Oct. 24, at Carolina on Oct. 27, at St.
Louis on Oct. 29, and Chicago on Oct. 31.
