The Dallas Stars are lining up a loaded promotional calendar for the 2026-27 season, and the home schedule at American Airlines Center is built to keep fans coming back for more than just the hockey.
Friday’s announcement lays out a season full of giveaways, theme nights and special celebrations, starting right away with the home opener on October 2 against the St. Louis Blues.
Fans in the building that night will get a magnet schedule for the season. Three days later, Scout Night arrives on October 5 against the San Jose Sharks, and anyone who buys “Scout Tickets” will receive a custom hat.
October is stacked from there. Hockey Fights Cancer Night on October 13 against the Colorado Avalanche will include “I Fight For” cards for fans honoring loved ones affected by cancer, and Teacher Appreciation also lands on October 13 with an exclusive hat available through its ticket package.
Trading Cards Night follows on October 25 against the New York Islanders, featuring trading cards, a trade show entry and game tickets in the package. Two nights later, First Responders Night on October 27 against the New Jersey Devils will come with a co-branded Stars x First Responders hat.
The month closes on Halloween, October 31, when the Stars host the Columbus Blue Jackets and fans are encouraged to come dressed for the occasion.
November brings another pair of giveaways that should draw early lines at the doors. Military Appreciation Night on November 12 against the Winnipeg Jets will feature a limited number of military-themed hats for early arriving fans. Then on November 15 against the Florida Panthers, early arrivals will have the chance to land a one-of-a-kind Esa Lindell bobblehead.
December centers on a few signature dates. The Dallas Stars Hall of Fame Game comes on December 12 against the St.
Louis Blues, honoring the 2026 Hall of Fame class with a commemorative poster for early arrivals. Holiday theme nights follow on December 15 and December 22 against the Washington Capitals and Calgary Flames, and the year finishes with a New Year’s Eve matchup against the New York Rangers.
January opens with a two-theme night on January 12 against the Ottawa Senators. Western Night includes a special door giveaway, while Iron Flame Night will feature a co-branded sweatshirt for fans who buy the designated ticket package.
Star Wars Night comes next on January 26 against the Anaheim Ducks, with a ticket bundle that includes an exclusive Victor E. Green Star Wars bobblehead.
February keeps the pace going. An ’80s Night on February 8 against the Los Angeles Kings will bring a throwback-style show, and Anime Night on February 16 against the Minnesota Wild includes an exclusive Stars x Anime wearable with its ticket bundle.
Black History Night follows on February 18 against the Philadelphia Flyers, with a commemorative poster for early arrivals. The 2027 Dallas Stars Career Fair is set for February 23 against the Vancouver Canucks, giving fans the chance to meet representatives from organizations across the region, with career fair tickets bundled with game tickets.
The month ends on February 27 against the Edmonton Oilers, where Kids Day will include a growth chart giveaway for early-arriving kids 12 and under, along with the team’s annual Alumni Classic later that night.
March shifts toward culture and community. Noche Mexicana on March 10 against the Anaheim Ducks will feature local Mexican cuisine, games and performances by Mexican-American artists and entertainers at the Party on PNC Plaza, plus a replica fútbol jersey giveaway for early arrivals. Women in Sports Night follows on March 23 against the Carolina Hurricanes, with a commemorative poster for early-arriving fans.
The promotional run finishes on April 3 against the Chicago Blackhawks with Fan Appreciation Night, a season-ending celebration featuring giveaways and prizes throughout the evening for the Stars’ fans.
