Nill announced that Rantanen, 29, is set to rejoin the team for full practices and will be traveling with the squad on their upcoming four-game road trip. The hope is that he'll hit the ice for the last two games of this stretch.

Then, it’s off to the East Coast. They’ll take on the New York Islanders on March 26 and the Pittsburgh Penguins two days later.
