The Cowboys’ offseason just got a lot messier.
Von Miller’s arrival in Dallas was supposed to be the headline - a one-year deal, the 37-year-old Texas native back home, and the NFL’s active career sack leader landing with the Cowboys. Instead, the chatter this week has centered on a possible off-field twist involving Miller’s long-running, on-and-off relationship with Megan Denise and CeeDee Lamb.
Reports started circulating around the organization after Lamb was allegedly spotted at a club with Denise. A video posted on Denise’s Instagram story appeared to show her in a nightclub with a man who looked similar to Lamb, though that identification could not be confirmed. The clip also allegedly showed the two together later, holding hands in a car.
Denise and Miller have had a highly public relationship that has included a broken engagement, children, and a domestic dispute. They began dating around 2017-2018 and got engaged in October 2018.
The couple shares children, including sons Valor and Victory, but called off the engagement in 2021. They have split and reunited multiple times since then.
Their history has also played out publicly. During one earlier breakup, Denise posted screenshots of text messages she said were from Miller, and Miller called those claims “fake news.”
Then in November 2023, an arrest warrant was issued for Miller after an alleged domestic violence incident involving Denise. Miller later turned himself in, and Denise eventually recanted her statements, saying it was a huge misunderstanding.
Now, with Miller and Lamb both in Dallas, the situation has become another storyline fans are watching closely. The Cowboys have added veteran pieces this offseason, and the way players mesh inside the locker room is already part of the conversation. If the rumored connection between Lamb and Denise is real, it could create an uncomfortable wrinkle for a team trying to keep everyone pointed in the same direction.
