Jerry Jones Told A Wild Packers Story That May Not Add Up

Join Jerry Jones as he revisits a peculiar fan encounter in Green Bay ahead of the Cowboys' clash with the Packers.

Jerry Jones headed into this week with a memory from Green Bay that he says he’ll never shake.

The Cowboys owner, who is bringing Dallas to Wisconsin on Sunday, brought up the old Lambeau Field story during a Tuesday appearance on 105.3 The Fan’s Shan and RJ. Jones was talking through last week’s 24-16 loss to Tampa Bay when the conversation drifted to Dak Prescott’s tunnel run-in with a worker, prompting Jones to say, “Fans can express themselves, and should express themselves.”

From there, Jones went into what he described as one of his favorite moments tied to Green Bay: a female Packers fan pulling her pants down in front of his grandchildren and pressing her backside against the car window. Jones said the cold was so intense that her skin stuck to the glass after she pulled away.

“When she pulled away, it was just a big print. We can still see it today,” he joked.

The story drew plenty of reaction online, with one commenter writing, “One of his greatest memories is a decades-old butt print on his window. That’s a weird souvenir to frame,” and another saying, “That does not add up at all lmao. Must’ve been a wet dream,”

Dallas is trying to rebound from the Bucs loss, though Jones can at least note that Micah Parsons is still out recovering from a torn ACL. DraftKings has the Cowboys as 1.5-point road underdogs for Sunday.

There’s also skepticism around Jones’ memory itself. According to Acme Packing Company, the encounter would have happened about 25 years ago, but writer Jon Meerdink says the timeline doesn’t really fit.

He notes that since Jones bought the team in 1989, Dallas has only beaten Green Bay three times in Green Bay, and two of those wins came in warm kickoff temperatures of 64 and 69 degrees. The 1991 win came at Milwaukee County Stadium, and Meerdink also points out that Jones didn’t have grandchildren old enough to be there in 1991, which leads him to suggest Jones may have been remembering a loss instead.

Jerry Jones Just Added More Fuel To Cowboys Packers Tension

Jerry Jones opened an old wound in the Cowboys-Packers rivalry by revisiting one of his stranger memories from roughly 25 years ago, when a Packers fan reacted to a Dallas win by pressing her bare backside against his car window while his grandchildren were inside. Jones said the moment stuck with him, and he even described the cold as part of the reason the fans skin left a print on the glass. It was the kind of story only Jones could tell with a straight face, and it landed with the same mix of humor and needle that has long surrounded these two franchises.

The timing made it even more pointed, with the Cowboys and Packers already linked by recent roster business, including the trade of Micah Parsons to Green Bay. For Dallas fans, the rivalry has never needed much help finding extra edge, but Jones managed to add another layer just by digging up a bizarre episode from the past. Between the old memory and the present-day connection, the Cowboys- Packers thread feels as active as ever. [Read more 🡒]

Cowboys First-Round Miss Looks Even Worse After Mazi Smith Setback

Mazi Smiths rocky NFL path has taken another turn, and it only adds to the regret around Dallas 2023 first-round gamble. Drafted to help shore up a run defense that needed immediate reinforcement, Smith never found a steady footing with the Cowboys, and his departure has only underlined how little impact the pick ultimately produced.

His latest stop ended quickly, too. Smith was released by the Miami Dolphins after time on their practice squad and a single game appearance, leaving him with four NFL games across three teams since leaving Dallas and still no tackle to show for it. For the Cowboys, it is another reminder of how a top investment in the trenches has yet to pay off. [Read more 🡒]

Jerry Jones Is Feeling Heat Over One Cowboys Trade Decision

The Cowboys uneven start on defense has only sharpened the attention on one of Jerry Jones biggest personnel calls of the year. Through the first five weeks, Dallas has had trouble settling in on that side of the ball, and the trade that sent linebacker Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers is looking more consequential by the week.

Parsons is injured right now, which has taken some of the immediate heat out of the discussion, but the topic has hardly gone away. A recent report suggested Jones has regrets about making the deal, and that conversation figures to get louder once Parsons is back on the field and the Cowboys are still being judged against what they gave up.
