Jake Ferguson Gets Pulled Into A Relationship Debate Fans Will Have Thoughts On

As NFL wives Claire Kittle and Haley Cavinder ignite debate on bedtime conflict resolution, their differing strategies highlight unique relationship dynamics.

Claire Kittle and Haley Cavinder may be tied to the same NFL position group, but they land on opposite sides of a very relatable relationship question: do you make peace before bed, or sleep on it?

That debate came up on a Tuesday episode of “The Kittle Things,” where the two women appeared together and got into nighttime conflict resolution. Claire Kittle made her position clear, backing the old-school approach of not letting an argument linger overnight.

George Kittle laid it out this way: “Well, Claire’s number one is don’t go to bed angry. And always say good night, and give each other a kiss before you go to bed,” George Kittle said when asked to offer advice to Ferguson and Cavinder.

Claire doubled down on that philosophy. “Even if I’m really mad at him and he’s pissing me off, I’ll still give him a kiss good night,” Claire said.

Cavinder, though, came in with the exact opposite mindset. “I have a hot take, though: I think you should go to bed angry,” Cavinder said.

When George asked why, she explained, “I think sleeping on things, if you’re in an argument or disagreement, I feel so much better in the morning, when my emotions are calm and cool. Like, let’s have a conversation.

It can always wait the next morning.”

Claire wasn’t budging either. “I feel like I’d just rather get it over with and talk about it.

It’s fresh in my brain; I know verbatim what you said. Let’s chat about it.

And then In the morning, our day is starting, and we’re busy. We’re not changing the schedule to talk about it,” Claire Kittle later said.

In the end, they left it there: two different household styles, no clear winner.

The conversation also put a spotlight on the football side of both couples. Claire has been married to San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle since 2019. The two met as freshmen athletes at the University of Iowa, and Claire has long been a familiar presence around the team, traveling extensively to support him at every game.

Cavinder’s path into the NFL world has been more recent. She married Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson in June 2026, after the two started dating in September 2023 following a connection on Instagram.

And if anyone was looking for an edge in the debate, the early-season records add a little fuel. The 49ers are 3-0, while the Cowboys sit at 1-2. Through three games, George Kittle has 12 receptions for 174 receiving yards, and Ferguson has 9 catches for 72 receiving yards.

Cardinals Rookie Back Is Giving Fans A Real Draft Debate

As October arrives, this rookie class is still waiting for a true breakout at quarterback, but the early returns at other spots have been more encouraging. Around the league, a handful of first-year players have already carved out real roles, from Jets tight end Sadiq to Cowboys linebackers Barham and Reese, while running back Jeremiyah Love and linebacker Trotter have also started to make their presence felt for their teams.

For Dallas, the most relevant takeaway is how quickly some of these rookies are forcing coaches and fans to pay attention. The Cowboys have already seen promise from Barham and Reese on defense, and the broader draft conversation is getting harder to ignore as more first-year players keep stacking good weeks. With so many early impressions still forming, the rookie debate is just starting to sharpen for teams that value immediate impact. [Read more 🡒]

Cowboys Face An Early Gut Check As Doubts Start Growing

The Cowboys head into Week 4 with more than just another AFC South test on the schedule. A trip to face the Texans brings injury questions on both sides, but Dallas is dealing with a particularly uneasy situation in its secondary while the offense is also drawing fresh scrutiny over Brian Schottenheimers play-calling.

For a team trying to steady itself early in the season, this is the kind of matchup that can sharpen the conversation fast. Dallas is already managing multiple key absences on defense, and the pressure only grows when the offense does not look as comfortable as it should, making Sunday a useful early measure of where the Cowboys really are. Cowboys Fans Suddenly Have A Real NFC East Debate

A Week 3 shakeup has suddenly made the NFC East feel a lot less predictable than it did a week ago. Philadelphias surprising loss to the Chicago Bears, along with Washingtons upset of the Seattle Seahawks, tightened a division race that had already started to feel like it might come down to every mistake, every matchup and every healthy body left standing.

For Dallas, the timing makes the next stretch especially interesting. The Cowboys are headed into a meeting with the Houston Texans while the Eagles return home to face the Los Angeles Rams, and both games could shift the balance again before the division settles into its next phase. With key players and each teams weekly form suddenly carrying more weight, the Cowboys now have reason to watch the entire standings board a little more closely than expected. [Read more 🡒]
