Bleacher Report’s latest ranking of the NFL’s best quarterbacks for the 2026 season gives Prescott a solid nod at No. 8. The outlet evaluated players on accuracy, processing, arm talent, decision-making, pocket presence and leadership, and Prescott landed inside the top 10.
That placement comes with some overdue appreciation. Bleacher Report wrote that Prescott “deserves more credit and praise as one of the league's top signal-callers.”
It also pointed to the way he shoulders Dallas’ offense: “He is entrusted with carrying the Cowboys ' passing offense with his arm, and he answers the bell more often than not,” the outlet says. “Prescott is a highly accurate passer in and outside of the pocket.”
The praise didn’t stop there. Bleacher Report added, “When protected and with high-caliber weapons at his disposal, he will put up All-Pro numbers. The Cowboys put their offensive fate into Prescott's hands, and he delivers.”
For Prescott, that’s a fair snapshot. The stats are there, the responsibility is there, and the production usually follows. The next step is obvious enough: if he and Jerry Jones can guide the Cowboys deep into the playoffs, the credit will be even harder to withhold.
