In a move aimed at refining their roster, the Cowboys traded Solomon Thomas to the Tennessee Titans. Thomas, who joined Dallas as a free agent last year, was part of a swap that saw the Cowboys move up in the draft order. They traded pick 225 for pick 218, essentially gaining seven spots.
This trade seems to be a calculated decision to part ways with a player who no longer fit into the Cowboys' plans. Interestingly, this move reunites Thomas with Aaron Whitecotton, under whom he played during his time with the New York Jets.
