As Cooper DeJean got ready for the Philadelphia Eagles’ Week 2 matchup with the Tennessee Titans, Abby Summers was doing her own game-day work at AT&T Stadium.
Summers, DeJean’s girlfriend, was set to cheer when the Dallas Cowboys hosted the Washington Commanders on Sunday. Hours before kickoff, she posted an Instagram photo with her cheer squad, standing second from the left with Parker Kilpatrick and Emily Awbrey beside her.
To go with the group shot, Summers wrote: “G2 TAKES ON GAME 2.”
The post drew a quick response from teammates. Ariel Brumfield, Sophia Laufer, Julissa Garcia and Darah Haidet all reacted, with Laufer calling the group “MY FAVOURITE GIRLS,” Brumfield writing, “Ayeee great minds think alike,” Haidet commenting, “Gorgeous girlsss” and Garcia adding, “SLAYYYY,”
Summers joined the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders in July 2024 and picked up plenty of attention during her rookie year. She was also featured in Netflix’s “America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders” docuseries.
When she announced the start of her DCC journey on July 23, 2024, Summers wrote: “So proud to share that I am a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader! It’s been an incredible journey, and I couldn’t have done it without the amazing people I’ve met along the way,”
DeJean and Summers have been together since early 2026, and some fans have worried about whether the relationship could spill into football matters. DeJean pushed back on that idea during an appearance on the “Exciting Mics” podcast.
"I mean, it's not like we both play football. She's a cheerleader. There is going to be no insider information given either way,” he said.
Summers has also been careful about her physical health, especially her skin. The influencer previously said she had undergone a serious cosmetic procedure to address skin problems.
