CeeDee Lamb gave the Dallas Cowboys plenty to smile about Monday night, and he had no problem leaning into the moment after the final whistle.
Dallas went into Lincoln Financial Field and beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-21, getting the kind of offensive night the team had been chasing. Lamb was right in the middle of it, hauling in two touchdown catches and helping steady a Cowboys attack that had been searching for a spark.
The celebration kept going after the game, too. A photo from the night showed Lamb reveling in front of Eagles fans, with several of them appearing to flash the middle finger in his direction. The image took off online, and Lamb added fuel to it by posting it on his Instagram account Tuesday.
On the field, Lamb backed up the moment with production: five catches for 74 yards and two touchdowns. Dallas had only 275 first-half yards while dealing with the aftereffects of its previous two outings, but Lamb helped drive the offense forward against a division rival.
He has been doing that all season. Through seven games, Lamb has 53 receptions for 651 yards and six receiving touchdowns, keeping him among the league’s top pass catchers.
Now the Cowboys are trying to make Monday’s breakout feel less like a one-night jolt and more like a turning point. Lamb’s confidence, at least, already looks obvious.
CeeDee Lamb and the Cowboys' next game is scheduled for Sunday afternoon at 1 PM ET against the Arizona Cardinals.

Cowboys May Have Found An Overlooked Answer To A Major Need
Otito Ogbonnia has quietly become one of the more useful pieces on the Cowboys defensive front this season, especially in a role that has often been hard to fill with consistency. The defensive tackle has held up well against the run and has also chipped in as a pass-rusher, giving Dallas a sturdier presence in the middle than it may have expected when the year began.
Among interior linemen who have logged significant work against the run, Ogbonnia has graded out as one of the better performers in the league, and that kind of interior stability matters for a defense that wants to control the line of scrimmage. The bigger question now is whether this stretch is simply a strong run of form or the start of a larger role for a player who has started to look like a real answer inside. [Read more 🡒]
Jerry Jones Faces A Cowboys Trade Deadline Problem He Can't Ignore
Jerry Jones has left the door open for the Cowboys to do something before the trade deadline, but the path to a meaningful move looks cramped. Dallas has already thinned out its draft capital through previous transactions, which makes the usual deadline approach a tougher sell when the front office starts weighing what an upgrade is actually worth.
The Cowboys could try to get creative and look beyond the standard pick-for-player deal, but those kinds of swaps are rare and usually come with their own headaches. If Dallas wants to land a notable addition without paying in the draft, it may have to consider moving a player with real value of its own, which is exactly the kind of trade-off that can make deadline talks so complicated for a team trying to stay competitive now and keep options open later. Cowboys Face One Huge Trade Deadline Question On Pass Rush
The Cowboys pass rush has become one of the biggest questions hanging over their trade deadline plans, and Maxx Crosby has quickly emerged as the name to watch. Dallas is looking at ways to add help off the edge before the November 10 deadline, and Crosby fits the kind of impact player who could change the conversation around the defense almost immediately.
Crosby has said he wants to stay in Las Vegas, but the Raiders are at least open to listening if the offers reach the right level. For Dallas, that means any serious pursuit would likely come with a steep cost in draft capital, and there is still no indication a deal is close. [Read more 🡒]
