CeeDee Lamb Just Put Cowboys Fans On Notice About Arizona

CeeDee Lamb and the Dallas Cowboys are determined to end their losing streak against the Arizona Cardinals by ramping up their intensity for this pivotal Week 7 clash.

CeeDee Lamb doesn’t need a reminder about what’s gone wrong for the Cowboys against Arizona. He’s lived it.

Dallas heads into Week 7 coming off a needed win over the Philadelphia Eagles, a result that keeps the team in the hunt for the NFC East and a home playoff game. But the next opponent brings a pretty ugly trend with it: the Cowboys have dropped four straight to the Cardinals dating back to 2020, and three of those losses came at AT&T Stadium.

That’s the backdrop Lamb was asked about on Thursday, and he didn’t sugarcoat it. He said Arizona has shown up with more energy while Dallas has been “very relaxed.”

"Yeah, it's just crazy," Lamb said, per the team website."[ We were] being very, very relaxed, and they punched us in the mouth every single time.

They've always had more energy. They were more excited, regardless of if it was a 12 o'clock, Sunday night or Monday night.

“I've never beat the Cardinals since I've been in the league, so that's kind of fair to say,” Lamb said. “I wouldn't say heightened focus, but it's definitely another take.”

Lamb has been part of all four of those matchups, and the numbers behind his own season only sharpen the spotlight. He’s second in the NFL in receiving yards with 651, and Dallas will need that production to keep rolling if it wants to finally snap the Arizona streak.

He expanded on the point later, again stressing the Cardinals’ edge from the opening whistle.

“They've always had more energy,” Lamb said, per ESPN's Todd Archer.“ Just coming out in the game, they're more excited regardless of if it was at 12 o'clock, Sunday night, Monday night.

We played them in primetime, they beat us there. So just coming in, treating them as if they are a Super Bowl contending team, which they may be, you know what I'm saying?

So hats off to them in their prep and we just got to go match them, if not overpower them.”

For a Cowboys team trying to steady itself, Sunday offers a chance to turn an uncomfortable pattern into a clean break.

Micah Parsons Trade Drama Just Got More Personal For Cowboys Fans

Micah Parsons move out of Dallas already carried enough weight for Cowboys fans, but the conversation around the trade has only grown louder since he landed with Green Bay. Parsons is still working back from the torn ACL he suffered in December 2025 and has not played this season, leaving the focus on what Dallas got in return: defensive tackle Kenny Clark and two future first-round draft picks.

Now the reaction has turned personal, with Parsons brother, Terrence Parsons Jr., publicly taking aim at the Cowboys return and stacking it up against another recent trade around the league. For a fan base used to measuring everything through the lens of premium draft capital and roster building, the criticism only adds another layer to an already jarring deal, and it keeps the scrutiny on how Dallas chose to handle one of its biggest defensive stars. Troy Aikman Rumor Just Reopened A Bigger Cowboys Power Debate

Troy Aikmans next move has become a fresh source of Cowboys conversation as his ESPN deal heads toward the end of the upcoming Super Bowl. Ed Werder, who has long followed the team closely, said he is skeptical Aikman would return to the organization in any ordinary capacity, and the speculation around the Hall of Fame quarterback keeps circling back to whether he wants something with real authority attached to it.

The timing only adds to the intrigue, with Aikman facing an uncertain broadcast future and some friction still hanging around his ESPN situation, including the contract talks and his partnership with Joe Buck. For Cowboys fans, the bigger question is not whether Aikman is still connected to the franchise, but whether any path back would require a role that changes the balance of power in Dallas. Joey Porter Jr. Is Setting A Cowboys Standard Fans Will Love

Through the early part of the season, Joey Porter Jr. has given the Cowboys the kind of outside corner play that changes how an offense has to operate. He has been targeted sparingly, and when quarterbacks have come his way, the results have been limited to short completions that never really threatened to become big plays. For a Dallas secondary looking for consistency, that kind of coverage discipline stands out right away.

What makes Porter even more intriguing is the standard he seems to bring with it. He does not sound interested in celebrating the mere absence of damage, only in eliminating every catch altogether, which is the mindset defensive backs crave when the lights get brighter. With Brian Schottenheimer also looking openly dissatisfied with where the season has gone, Porters competitiveness adds another layer to a team that could use more of that edge across the roster.
