CeeDee Lamb gave Dallas exactly the kind of spark it needed on Monday night, turning a red-zone snap into a highlight-reel touchdown against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Cowboys’ star receiver has spent his NFL career building a reputation for making defenders pay, and Cooper DeJean was the latest one to get caught in the mix. In the first quarter, with Dallas inside the nine-yard line, Dak Prescott delivered a pass to the end zone, and Lamb finished the job by winning the matchup and hauling in the score.
That was the kind of play Lamb has made a habit of producing, another flashy entry for what the source described as his touchdown mixtape.
Dallas entered the game at 2-4 through six contests, and the slow start has put extra pressure on the Cowboys to string together wins. Lamb’s touchdown was part of a first-half effort that helped Dallas stay ahead, with the Cowboys taking a 20-14 lead into halftime.
Prescott has done his part through the air, completing 12 of 21 passes for 174 yards and two touchdowns. Javonte Williams has paced the ground game with 10 carries for 67 yards.

Next up for Dallas is a home date with the Arizona Cardinals in Week 8. The Cowboys are set to host that game on Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. ET.

Troy Aikman's Emotional Cowboys-Eagles Moment Meant More Than Fans Realized
The Monday Night Football broadcast carried a heavier tone for anyone who knew David Moulton, the longtime sports radio personality whose work around ESPNs NFL coverage made him a familiar presence behind the scenes. Moulton died after a six-year battle with cancer, and his passing was confirmed by his wife, Julie, prompting tributes from colleagues who had come to value not just his professionalism, but the friendship he built with them over the years.
Among those remembering him were Troy Aikman and Joe Buck, whose words on the Cowboys-Eagles telecast reflected how much Moulton meant to the people around the production. For Dallas fans used to hearing that booth throughout the season, it was a reminder that these games are shaped by more than what happens on the field, with some of the most meaningful moments taking place far from the spotlight.
