The Columbus Blue Jackets are packing the 2026-27 season with theme nights, giveaways and special ticket packages, starting with Opening Night on Thursday, Oct. 1.
Fans at the opener will get a 2026-27 Blue Jackets calendar, and the club’s promo calendar mixes familiar staples with a few fresh additions. Hockey Fights Cancer Night, Military Appreciation Night and Kids Takeover are all back, while the new lineup includes Hockey Halloween, Marvel Night and a 50th-anniversary Star Wars celebration.
Hockey Halloween lands on Saturday, Oct. 24, and the Blue Jackets are tying it to the 60th anniversary of “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.” The night will feature tricks-and-treats inspired by the season, a CBJ x Peanuts trick-or-treat pillowcase giveaway and a special ticket package that includes a CBJ-themed Snoopy and Woodstock bobblehead.
Marvel Night follows on Saturday, Dec. 19, when the Avengers and Dr. Doom will take over Nationwide Arena.
The event comes one day after the theatrical release of “Avengers: Doomsday,” and fans who buy the ticket package will receive a Jet Greaves bobblehead with a detachable Dr. Doom mask.
Star Wars Night returns on Saturday, Feb. 20, this time as a 50th-anniversary celebration of “Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope.” The team says the night will include themed entertainment throughout the arena, along with a special ticket package featuring a Star Wars-inspired CBJ wearable.
