LaJohntay Wester Joins Colorado's Danny Scudero and Kam Perry for Special Workout

NFL wide receiver LaJohntay Wester joins forces with Colorados rising stars Danny Scudero and Kam Perry for a dynamic training session that aims to elevate their game under the watchful eye of Coach Prime.

When you get the chance to sharpen your skills with an NFL wide receiver, you seize it. That's exactly what Colorado's promising wideouts, Danny Scudero and Kam Perry, experienced recently.

LaJohntay Wester, a Baltimore Ravens wide receiver, made an unexpected visit to Colorado's indoor practice facility. His appearance even drew some playful banter from Coach Prime, Deion Sanders, as captured in Deion Sanders Jr's "Well Off Media" video. Coach Prime quipped about Wester dropping by without a heads-up but welcomed the opportunity for his receivers to learn from an NFL player.

Wester's NFL Journey and Impact

Drafted by the Ravens in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, Wester played all 17 games in his rookie season. Although he didn't snag any receptions that year, his contributions were felt on special teams, where he ranked among the top 20 in punt return yardage. His standout moment came with an electrifying 87-yard punt return touchdown in the preseason, securing his spot on the Ravens' roster.

In the video, Wester, Perry, and Scudero are seen honing their craft-perfecting their breaks and footwork during route execution. It's an invaluable learning session for the young Colorado receivers.

Coach Steph Brown (@CoachBrown_MDN) shared the excitement on social media, highlighting the collaboration between Wester, Perry, and Scudero. With spring ball on the horizon, the anticipation is building for what these players will bring to the field.

For Perry, who ranked third nationally with an impressive 22.7 average yards per catch in 2025, and Scudero, the national leader in receiving yards with 1,291, learning from an NFL player like Wester is a game-changer. This experience could be pivotal as they prepare for the upcoming season, further cementing Colorado's reputation as a breeding ground for top-tier talent.
