Maryland's own Jaiden Lindsay, a standout offensive lineman from Our Lady of Good Counsel, is making waves in the recruiting world. Ranked among the top 10 prospects in the state, Lindsay is gearing up for an official visit to the University of Colorado, scheduled for the weekend of June 5.
Lindsay has quickly become a focal point for the Buffaloes' recruiting efforts, and he's thrilled about the opportunity. "Getting an offer from such a strong program and dedicated coaches is a big deal for me," Lindsay shared.
His connection with Colorado has been bolstered by conversations with Rashad Rich, the director of recruiting, and offensive line coach Gunnar White. "Coach Rich and Coach Gunnar have been great.
Colorado feels like a place I could really see myself playing."
Their interest in Lindsay was evident from the start. "They liked my film and said I'm the kind of 'dawg' they want on the team," Lindsay said, recalling the excitement of receiving the offer.
Beyond Colorado, Lindsay's recruitment journey includes scheduled visits to other prominent programs. He'll be heading to Maryland on June 19, a place he's already familiar with and where he feels valued.
"Maryland's coaches have always made me feel like a priority," he noted. Virginia Tech is also on his list, with Indiana, Kentucky, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, and West Virginia vying for his commitment as well.
Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 276 pounds, Lindsay is projected to excel as an interior offensive lineman at the collegiate level. His impressive performance last season, earning first-team all-state, all-metro, and all-conference honors, underscores his talent.
"I take pride in protecting quarterbacks and opening up running lanes," he explained. "I want people to see me as a physical, athletic lineman who finishes every play."
As Lindsay navigates his recruitment, his blend of skill and determination makes him a coveted prospect, one who could make a significant impact wherever he chooses to play.
