Elena Oh Shines Again as Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week

In just three weeks into the season, Colorado's standout goalkeeper Elena Oh has already snagged her third Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week accolade. The conference made the announcement on Wednesday, highlighting Oh's impressive performance between the posts.

Hailing from Chapel Hill, N.C., the sophomore sensation delivered a stellar performance in the Buffaloes' commanding 17-5 victory over Towson. Oh was a fortress in the net, making five crucial saves in just over 50 minutes of play.

This effort pushed her career saves to 101, making her the fifth CU goalkeeper to reach the century mark. With only three goals allowed, she now boasts a Big 12-leading goals-against average (GAA) of 5.96.

Nationally, Oh ranks fifth in GAA and holds the 12th spot with a .514 save percentage.

In less than two seasons, Oh has racked up seven Big 12 Goalkeeper of the Week honors, including an impressive streak of four consecutive awards during the 2025 season.

The Buffaloes are gearing up for a trip to New York, where they’ll face off against No. 18 Stony Brook this Thursday.

Note that the game time has been adjusted to 12:30 p.m. MT.
