Colorado is back at Folsom Field on Saturday, and the Buffs have a fresh depth chart in hand for Weber State.
Deion Sanders’ team made only a few noticeable changes from last week, but there was still some movement as Colorado prepares for its Week 2 matchup. Weber State arrives in Boulder at 1-1 and as a 34.5-point underdog after falling to Southern Utah, 47-42, in Week 1. Colorado, meanwhile, got a little extra time to recover after opening the season with a win at Georgia Tech last Thursday.
On offense, Julian Lewis is listed at quarterback, with Micah Welch and DeKalon Taylor as the backs. Lewis is protected up front by Bo Hughley at left tackle, Chauncey Gooden at left guard, Sean Kinney at center, Jayvon McFadden at right guard and Leon Bell at right tackle.
The receiver group starts with DeAndre Moore Jr., Joseph Williams and Danny Scudero. The depth behind them includes Quanell Farrakhan Jr. behind Moore, Kam Perry behind Williams, and Ernest Campbell and Quentin Gibson behind Scudero. Zach Atkins and Corbin Laisure are also listed at depth.
At fullback, Brady Kopetz and Ben Gula are on the chart.
The defense has Lamont Lester Jr. and Toby Anene at EDGE, with Santana Hopper and Dylan Manuel at defensive tackle. Behind Hopper are Samu Taumanupepe and Quency Wiggins, while Tyler Moore and Chauncey Gooden are listed behind Manuel.
At linebacker, Gideon ESPN Lampron, Tyler Martinez and Liona Lefau are the starters. Carson Crawford and Rodney Colton Jr. sit behind Lampron, Gage Goldberg is listed behind Martinez and also behind Lefau.
In the secondary, Cree Thomas and Boo Carter are the cornerbacks, with Jason Stokes Jr. behind Thomas and Maurice Williams behind Carter.
