Colorado men’s basketball now has its 2026-27 broadcast map, and the Big 12 gave the Buffaloes a little bit of everything.
ESPN platforms will carry the bulk of Colorado’s regular-season slate, with 21 of 32 games landing there. Beyond that, the Buffs are spread across five more networks for nine games, while two matchups still haven’t been assigned a television home. Colorado is set for two appearances apiece on TNT/truTV/HBO Max, FS1, CBS Sports Network and Peacock, plus one game on USA Network.
The ESPN+ slate is heavy, too. Colorado has 16 games on the service, including eight of its nine nonconference home games.
The Buffs also have eight Big 12 games on ESPN+, split evenly with four at home and four on the road. Colorado’s BuffVision team will handle production for all 12 home games on ESPN+.
A handful of the highest-profile games will land on ESPN’s linear family. Three of those are at the CU Events Center, starting with the Big 12 home opener against Iowa State on Tuesday, Jan. 5, at 9 p.m.
MT on either ESPN or ESPN2. Houston visits on Saturday, Jan. 16, at 6 p.m. on either ESPN or ESPN2, and Texas Tech comes to Boulder on Tuesday, Feb. 2, with that game locked in for ESPN and a 9 p.m. tip.
Colorado’s road dates on that group include Kansas on Wednesday, Jan. 13, and Houston on Wednesday, Feb. 24.
Both are set for 7 p.m. MT on ESPN2 or ESPNU.
TNT will have two Colorado games, both also set for truTV and HBO Max. The first is the hardwood version of the Rocky Mountain Showdown, with Colorado hosting Colorado State on Saturday, Dec. 5, at 8 p.m. The second comes during Big 12 play, when Arizona State visits Boulder on Saturday, Feb. 27, at 1 p.m.
Peacock will feature the Buffaloes twice as well. Colorado opens that stretch on the road, with Providence hosting the Buffs on Saturday, Nov. 14, at 4 p.m.
MT in Providence, R.I. Later, Colorado hosts BYU on Wednesday, Feb. 17, at 7 p.m.
FS1 gets two marquee Colorado road games. The Buffs face Purdue in the Indy Classic on Saturday, Dec. 19, at 3:30 p.m. MT at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, then close the regular season on the road at Arizona on Wednesday, March 3, at 7 p.m.
CBS Sports Network will televise Colorado’s first Big 12 road game at Oklahoma State on Saturday, Jan. 2, at 6 p.m. MT, and later the Buffs travel to Baylor on Wednesday, Jan. 27, at 6 p.m. MT.
The Buffaloes’ lone USA Network game is a nonconference trip to San Diego State for the Bill Walton Classic on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 1:30 p.m. MT at Pechanga Arena in San Diego.
Television designations for the Acrisure Series games on Nov. 24-25 have not yet been announced.
Every Colorado regular-season game will also air on KOA 850 AM & 94.1 FM or 630 AM KHOW. The exhibition game against North Texas on Sunday, Oct. 18, at the Auraria Event Center in Denver will not be televised, but it will be carried on the Colorado Basketball Radio Network.

Yukiko Ikedo Gives Colorado A Needed Singles Boost At Regionals
Rain pushed the ITA Mountain Regional Championship qualifier indoors at the University of Utah, but Yukiko Ikedo handled the change of scenery well for Colorado. She picked up two singles wins to move into the main draw, giving the Buffaloes a timely boost as the team tries to get players into both the singles and doubles national tournaments.
Ikedos path was not simple, either, as the qualifier sent her through a tight finish before she earned her spot in the main bracket. She now turns to a first-round matchup against a Nevada opponent, with Colorado hoping her run can carry over as the regional gets deeper. [Read more 🡒]
Deion Sanders Sends Colorado Fans A Blunt Warning Before Utah
With Colorado getting ready for Utah, Deion Sanders spent his media availability giving a clear-eyed picture of whats ahead rather than trying to dress it up. He praised Morgan Scalley and pointed to the Utes as a complete challenge, one with a productive offense and a defense that has earned national attention. Its the kind of matchup the Buffaloes can ill afford to approach casually, especially with their own offense still searching for rhythm.
Sanders also addressed the quarterback situation, confirming the Buffs will again go with Isaac Wilson instead of Julian Lewis. Against a Utah team that is heavily favored and has been one of the tougher tests on Colorados schedule, the decision underscores how much the staff is leaning on experience and stability. For Colorado, the issue is not just keeping pace on the scoreboard but finding a way to match a defense that figures to attack from every direction. [Read more 🡒]
Deion Sanders Is Betting On Isaac Wilson In A Brutal Spot
Deion Sanders is sticking with Isaac Wilson under center as Colorado comes out of the bye week, a clear sign the Buffaloes are willing to ride the new transfer through a difficult stretch. Wilson arrived from Utah and immediately found himself in the spotlight for his first start in Boulder, a debut that mixed a touchdown with the kind of turnover issues that can quickly change a quarterback conversation.
The timing only adds to the intrigue, because Colorados next test comes against Utah, the program Wilson left behind. Wilson is still expected to lead the offense into that matchup, while Julian Lewis and Kaneal Sweetwyne remain in the quarterback room behind him, leaving Sanders with a decision that could shape both the immediate game plan and the tone around the position moving forward.
