Colorado Avalanche fans living outside the United States and Canada now have a new home for the 2026-27 season.
DAZN will stream all 84 of Colorado’s regular-season games, plus select preseason games, according to DAZN reporter Steven Muehlhausen. That gives international viewers another way to keep up with Nathan MacKinnon, Cale Makar and the reigning Presidents' Trophy winners.
The deal arrives as the NHL shifts into an 84-game regular season for the first time since 1993-94. That means Colorado’s schedule comes with two extra regular-season games, beginning September 30 when the Avalanche open at Ball Arena against the Los Angeles Kings.
DAZN’s NHL coverage is limited to markets outside the United States and Canada, so the service is aimed squarely at Avalanche fans following the team from abroad. Subscribers can choose between Standard and Ultimate tiers, with both annual and monthly options available. Pricing depends on the country.
In the United Kingdom, the Standard Season Pass is listed at £119.99 upfront, while the Ultimate package costs £139.99. Monthly Flex plans are also offered.
The Ultimate tier adds features such as multiview, which lets users watch up to four games at once, along with streaming on as many as five devices across two locations.
DAZN said Avalanche games will be available on smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, streaming devices and video game consoles.
The streaming arrangement lands as Colorado heads into another season with a lot to answer for. The Avalanche were the dominant team for long stretches last year, but their playoff run ended in frustrating fashion.
MacKinnon and Makar remain the headliners as Colorado tries to turn regular-season success into a deeper postseason push. The Avalanche won the Presidents' Trophy last season before falling in the Western Conference Final.
This year’s schedule includes some notable spots, none bigger than the franchise’s first Winter Classic. Colorado will face the Utah Mammoth on New Years' Eve at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City. The Avalanche will also play the Vegas Golden Knights three times in the regular season after Vegas swept Colorado in the Western Conference Final last season.
For fans outside North America, DAZN will be the place to follow the ride.
