"They felt like they needed another playmaker, someone who’s been in this situation before, and they added James, a perennial All-Star still putting up All-Star numbers," he remarked. "He gives Donovan Mitchell another ball handler who can make shots late in the game."
The Cavaliers' bold moves have certainly caught LeBron's attention. Back in June 2024, Rich Paul, LeBron's agent, mentioned that LeBron would consider a pay cut with the Lakers to play alongside an established playmaker or big man, naming Harden as a potential fit.
