Wholesome: Stefon Diggs' Proud GF Cardi B Blasts ESPN For Pats Disrespect

Cardi B adds her voice to the Patriots' growing confidence, calling out ESPN critics after Stefon Diggs and New England defy the odds in their playoff run.

Stefon Diggs and the New England Patriots are moving on-and they’re doing it with some swagger.

After a gritty divisional-round win over the Houston Texans, Diggs wasn’t just celebrating on the field. His girlfriend, rapper Cardi B, took to social media to fire back at the doubters.

In a video clip she shared, the entire NFL Live panel-Mina Kimes, Ryan Clark, and others-had picked Houston to win. Let’s just say Cardi didn’t let that slide.

And honestly, who can blame her? This Patriots team has been proving people wrong all season.

Under first-year head coach Mike Vrabel, New England has found a new identity. They didn’t just sneak into the playoffs-they earned it, winning the AFC East and then dispatching the Chargers 16-3 in the wild-card round. And while the offense hasn’t always been flashy, it’s been efficient when it matters most.

Diggs, who signed a three-year, $63.5 million deal with the Patriots last March, had a solid regular season-1,013 yards and four touchdowns across 17 games. But in the wild-card game, he was relatively quiet: just two catches for 16 yards. That changed on Sunday.

With just over three minutes left in the second quarter against Houston, rookie quarterback Drake Maye found Diggs in the end zone for a seven-yard touchdown-his first postseason score as a Patriot. That grab pushed New England’s lead to 21-10 heading into halftime, a pivotal moment in a game where every possession mattered.

After the win, Diggs caught up with Jane Slater on the sideline and didn’t hold back his emotions.

“It means everything to me,” Diggs said. “We played as a team.

We kept fighting, rolled on with the punches-the good and the bad. I’m so proud of this team.

Proud of Drake Maye. Proud of the defense.”

And he had high praise for the Texans defense, which came into the game ranked No. 1 in total defense.

“You got to give them a huge shoutout,” Diggs added. “They were the best defense in the league.

I know they don’t get a lot of praise, but they don’t get enough. I’m gonna give them all the praise.

Offense came through when they needed to. Ran the ball effectively when we needed to.

I’m just proud of this team.”

That’s the kind of leadership you want from a veteran receiver-especially one helping guide a young quarterback through his first playoff run.

Next up: the AFC Championship Game against Sean Payton and the Denver Broncos, who pulled off a dramatic 33-30 overtime win over the Buffalo Bills. It’s a matchup loaded with storylines-Vrabel vs. Payton, Maye vs. a Broncos defense that’s been opportunistic all year, and of course, Diggs looking to make even more noise on the postseason stage.

The Patriots weren’t supposed to be here, not this soon. But they’re here-and they’re not done yet.
