Myles Garrett is already putting another Cleveland chapter in the rearview.
The former Browns edge rusher, now with the Los Angeles Rams after being traded into the NFC, is looking for a new place to live closer to the Hollywood crowd. That means the Wadsworth, Ohio home he built after arriving in the league is now on Zillow and up for sale.
For a player who has made a fortune, the property is a little more understated than you might expect. Garrett’s house and the two acres around it are appraised at $2.1 million. In 2025, he signed an extension worth $160 million, so the home hardly screams superstar excess.
He had the house built in 2018, a year after the Browns made him the first overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft. Since then, he stayed put in the same place through his entire Cleveland run.
The house has five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and 4,300 square feet of living space. It also includes two-story sections with two staircases, plus a grand office, spa, full gym, theater, custom bar, walk-in closets, and a bonus room for gaming.
The property itself is partially cleared and has a metal front gate. Outside, there’s stonework and an adjacent three-vehicle garage, with stone on both sides of the electric gate as well.
Garrett’s new deal with the Rams is a restructured five-year contract worth $208.2 million. It includes $37 million fully guaranteed this year and $99 million guaranteed through the 2028 season.
His Cleveland resume was loaded. Garrett spent nine years with the Browns, made seven Pro Bowls, earned seven First Team or Second Team All-Pro selections, won the Deacon Jones Award in 2025, was named NFL Defensive Player of the Year twice, and made the NFL All-Rookie Team.
Selling the house also makes his earlier words about staying in Northeast Ohio look a lot different now. Two years ago, around the time he bought a piece of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Garrett said, “I’m not gonna sell my house and pack up and leave,” Garrett said of Cleveland.
“I definitely plan to be here for a long time. I’ll start a family here.
I’m not just gonna rip and run once things are over and I hang up the cleats. I’m gonna be here supporting the Cavs, supporting the Browns for a mighty long time.”

There is also a financial piece hovering over the football side, with the Browns expected to work on Denzel Wards contract before the season begins.
