The point of the joke lands because the Browns were still searching for stability at quarterback when the 2018 NFL Draft rolled around. Since returning to the NFL in 1999, Cleveland has started over 35 different quarterbacks, and the franchise had already whiffed on premium picks such as Tim Couch, Brady Quinn, and Johnny Manziel.
