If you’re looking for the Browns’ best chance to grab a win in that first quarter, Week 3 at home against the Carolina Panthers stands out. Carolina went 8-9 in 2025, while Cleveland’s opener comes against a much tougher Jacksonville Jaguars team that finished 13-4 last season.
Week 2 brings a different kind of problem. The Browns head on the road to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and that game has several layers of difficulty.
Tampa Bay has been one of the league’s more competitive teams in recent years, and the matchup carries extra weight because Cleveland will be facing Baker Mayfield. That history alone adds pressure to the trip.
