The Browns are riding high after last week’s win over the Baltimore Ravens, and their fans are feeling it. Cleveland moved to 2-0 in the division and 4-2 overall, and now sits alone in first place in the AFC North. That momentum showed up in the confidence numbers too, with Browns fan confidence jumping 26 percentage points to 85%, a new season high.
That optimism carried into this week’s matchup against the Titans. On the question of who will win Sunday, 87% of Browns fans picked Cleveland, while 13% went with Tennessee. It’s the first time this season the response has landed as a clear blowout in the fan polling.
Even so, most fans still expect the game to be competitive. In all, 68% think Cleveland will win a close one, while 19% believe the Browns can control the game and win convincingly. One fan said he wants the Browns to win big, but doesn’t see that happening with Deshaun Watson at quarterback:
“I can’t see us winning big with Watson as bad as he is.”
Another fan’s concerns go back to last year’s loss to Tennessee:
“I have nightmares about Tony Pollard and Jeffrey Simmons from last December in Cleveland.”
The Titans, meanwhile, are drawing a very different kind of reaction from their own fan base. Just 79% of fans are in favor of the direction of their team.
The week also included a national question about officiating, and the answer was blunt: 79% of fans think there have been too many penalties this season.

Former Browns Are Giving Cleveland Fans Plenty To Think About
A handful of former Browns are already making their mark, or in some cases finding themselves on the outside looking in, with new teams around the league. David Njoku has spent most of his time on injured reserve with the Chargers, while Dalvin Tomlinson has surfaced as a possible trade candidate, giving Cleveland fans a chance to wonder what might have been or what could still change next.
Martin Emerson Jr. has settled in well with the Saints, Wyatt Teller has been benched by the Texans, and Devin Bush has been playing at a strong level for the Bears. It is the kind of mixed bag that turns a routine look-around into something a little more pointed for Browns followers, because the further these players get from Cleveland, the more their new situations say about how the teams recent talent has been valued elsewhere. Browns Could Use Rams Pick On A Huge First Round Gamble
With Cleveland in position to host a playoff game, the front office is staring at a different kind of January homework as the draft picture comes into focus. The Browns are holding two first-round picks, and that kind of flexibility naturally invites speculation about whether theyll lean into the quarterback market while still keeping an eye on the rest of the roster.
NFL Spin Zones Sayre Bedinger floated a particularly aggressive path, with quarterback Trinidad Chambliss and defensive tackle Devan Thompkins as possible first-round targets. It is the kind of projection that fits a team with real draft capital and real uncertainty, but it also comes with the usual warning label: boards shift, needs change and what looks like a clean fit in October can look very different by draft season. Browns Get A Crucial Titans Boost As New Depth Questions Emerge
The Browns got a little healthier heading into Week 7, activating running back Dylan Sampson from injured reserve and elevating defensive tackle Sam Kamara from the practice squad before facing the Tennessee Titans. Those moves matter for a Cleveland roster that has been juggling availability all week, and they come with some much-needed help on the defensive side while the offense tries to settle its pieces going into Sunday.
Teven Jenkins landing on injured reserve because of a back injury adds another layer to the depth picture up front, where every available body can matter in a hurry. On the other side of the ledger, safety Grant Delpit clearing concussion protocol and being expected to play gives the Browns a boost in the secondary, leaving Cleveland with a more stable outlook in some spots even as it continues to manage the roster around the edges.
