Week 2 brings a couple of attractive anytime touchdown angles, and the board starts with a rare opportunity: Ja’Marr Chase at plus money.
That alone makes the Bengals star worth a long look. Chase was held to just two catches in Week 1, which seems to have pushed the market away from him a bit.
But the track record is still massive. He led the NFL with 17 receiving scores in the 2024 season, then added eight touchdowns in 16 games in 2025 even while Joe Burrow missed significant time because of a turf toe injury.
Cincinnati is going to keep feeding him, and the matchup with Houston is good enough to buy in. The Texans finished No. 1 in the NFL in EPA/Play in the 2025 season, but they were shaky in Week 1 against Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. Houston gave up 334 passing yards and 36 points, and Allen threw two touchdowns, including one to DJ Moore, who finished with 100 receiving yards.
The Texans were also 30th in EPA/Pass in Week 1, so Burrow and Cincinnati’s outside weapons could have success here. Chase tends to rise above matchup concerns in the prop market, and this looks like a buy-low spot.
The other play lands in Green Bay, where Matthew Golden is priced at +240 to score.
Golden caught six passes in Week 1, but the bigger signal was volume: he drew 12 targets, the third-most of any pass-catcher in the league. Even with Christian Watson and Jayden Reed in the mix, the Packers are clearly working to get him involved.
New York’s pass defense looked sharp last week, but that came against Cam Ward and the Tennessee Titans, so it’s hard to read too much into it. Jordan Love should have room to attack through the air, and Golden has a real chance to cash in.
