Tee Higgins Earns First Pro Bowl Nod, Joins Bengals Elite
For Tee Higgins, the 2025 season was all about making statements-and now, he’s got the Pro Bowl nod to prove it.
The Bengals wide receiver has officially been added to the AFC roster for the 2026 Pro Bowl Games, marking the first Pro Bowl selection of his career. It’s a well-earned recognition for a player who not only found the end zone with regularity but also stepped up as a consistent scoring threat throughout the year.
Higgins, now in his sixth season out of Clemson, put together a strong campaign with 59 catches for 846 yards and a career-high 11 touchdowns across 15 games (14 starts). That touchdown total didn’t just lead the AFC-it tied for second in the entire league.
From Week 7 through Week 11, Higgins was on a tear, hauling in a touchdown in four straight games, the longest such streak of his career. That stretch helped solidify his reputation as one of the most dangerous red-zone weapons in the conference.
With this Pro Bowl selection, Higgins becomes just the 10th wide receiver in Bengals history to earn the honor. He joins teammate Ja’Marr Chase, who also received Pro Bowl recognition this season, giving Cincinnati a dynamic duo representing the stripes in San Francisco.
The last time the Bengals sent two wideouts to the Pro Bowl in the same year? You’d have to go back to 2007, when Chad Johnson and T.J.
Houshmandzadeh were lighting up defenses.
Originally listed as a second alternate when the rosters were announced in December, Higgins got the call after Baltimore’s Zay Flowers withdrew from the game. Now, he’ll suit up on Feb. 3 at the Moscone Center, where the league’s top talent will gather for a revamped Pro Bowl Games format.
For Higgins, this isn’t just a personal milestone-it’s a sign that he’s carved out his place among the league’s elite receivers. And for the Bengals, it’s another reminder that their offense is loaded with firepower, and their wide receiver room is as deep and dangerous as any in the NFL.
