Bengals Get A Huge Week 7 Opportunity They Cannot Waste

After a refreshing bye week, the Cincinnati Bengals, bolstered by a clean injury slate, aim to capitalize on the absence of Lamar Jackson as they gear up for a pivotal clash with the Baltimore Ravens.

The Bengals come out of their bye week with a clean bill of health and a clear chance to move up in the AFC North.

Joe Burrow’s team heads to face the Lamar Jackson-less Ravens on the road in Week 7, with Cincinnati sitting at 3-2 and aiming to get to 4-2. The Bengals did not have a player listed on the injury report coming out of the bye.

Sunday’s game is set for 1 p.m. ET on CBS from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

For fans looking to follow along, the game will air on CBS and stream on Paramount+. It will also be available on NFL+ in market, NFL Sunday Ticket out of market, and NFL Game Pass International, excluding China. On the radio side, Bengals coverage will be carried by the Bengals Radio Network on WCKY (1530), WEBN-FM (102.7) and WLW700, with SiriusXM channel 264 also listed.

Cincinnati’s regular-season path now rolls straight into a packed stretch. After the bye, the Bengals face the Ravens, then return home for the Tennessee Titans on Nov.

  1. They also have a trip to Atlanta for Madrid on Nov. 8, a Sunday night home game against Pittsburgh on Nov. 15, and a Monday night visit to Washington on Nov.
  2. The schedule also includes games against New Orleans, Cleveland, Kansas City, Carolina, Indianapolis, Baltimore again on Thursday night in Week 17, and Cleveland in Week 18.

The Bengals opened the season with a 33-27 win over the Buccaneers, beat the Texans 20-6, then dropped games to the Steelers and Jaguars before beating the Dolphins 31-24 in Week 5. After Week 6 off, they now turn to Baltimore to resume the push.

Bengals Have One Awkward Roster Decision Before Ravens Showdown

The Bengals head into their showdown with the Ravens in unusually good shape on the injury front, with no one carrying an injury designation into game day. Baltimore, meanwhile, will again be without Lamar Jackson, who is set to miss a third straight game with an ankle sprain, leaving Tyler Huntley to handle the quarterback duties in a matchup that still carries plenty of AFC North weight.

That leaves Cincinnati with one of the quieter but still important pregame questions: who gets left out of the active roster picture. A few of the newer and deeper reserves are in the mix as possible scratches, with recent signee Jack Kiser among the names worth watching as the Bengals sort through the final cutdown for this one. Backup offensive line depth is also part of the equation, and with the roster otherwise healthy, those decisions are where the only real pregame suspense seems to be. [Read more 🡒]

Tee Higgins Gives Bengals A Needed Boost Entering Ravens Showdown

Tee Higgins gave the Bengals exactly the sort of midseason lift they needed last week, pushing through an adductor injury and taking the field in the win over the Miami Dolphins. He handled 69.2 percent of the snaps in that game, and his presence mattered for an offense that can look very different when one of its top targets is unavailable.

Heading into Week 7 against Baltimore, Higgins is no longer listed on the injury report and has been a full participant in practice. For Cincinnati, that sets up a healthier receiving corps at an important point in the schedule, with Higgins already up to 27 catches for 423 yards and a touchdown this season as the Bengals prepare for a rivalry game that rarely comes without pressure. Bengals Suddenly Have A Troubling New Concern Around Erick All

Erick All Jr. was already a player the Bengals were watching closely, and Sunday added another layer of concern. The tight end was declared out for the rest of the game against the Ravens after a right knee injury, with the team confirming his status in an official post.

The timing is what makes it unsettling for Cincinnati, because it came after All left during the second half and involved the same knee that has already been through surgeries before. The Bengals also lost safety Kyle Dugger to a left quadriceps injury, leaving one more personnel problem to sort through as the game moved on. [Read more 🡒]
