Cincinnati's baseball team dominates Utah Valley with strategic plays and standout performances, marking another commanding run-rule victory.

OREM, Utah - The University of Cincinnati Bearcats put on a commanding performance against Utah Valley, cruising to an 11-1 victory on Monday night. This marks the fourth time this season Cincinnati has ended a game early with a run-rule win, showcasing their offensive prowess.

The Bearcats capitalized on three crucial errors by Utah Valley, which contributed to four of their runs. By the end of the eighth inning, Cincinnati's 10-run lead sealed the game, improving their overall record to an impressive 16-6.

The highlight of the night came from redshirt freshman Ryan Tyranski, who launched a grand slam in the seventh inning. This was his first grand slam and the third for the Bearcats this season, joining sophomores Quinton Coats and Jackson Smith in the grand slam club. Smith was a standout as well, reaching base three times with two walks and a single, maintaining a stellar on-base percentage of .586.

Sophomore Derrick Pitts and junior Jack Natili each contributed two hits, with Natili knocking two doubles. Sophomore Conlan Daniel was a force on the bases, scoring three times, the most by any Bearcat during the game.

On the mound, five Bearcat pitchers combined to keep Utah Valley at bay. Sophomore Adam Buczkowski earned the win, delivering 1.1 scoreless innings and striking out three. Freshman Chad Brown closed out the game with 2.2 innings of work, racking up a season-high six strikeouts.

The action started early, with Cincinnati getting on the board in the first inning. Jackson Smith set the tone by drawing a walk, stealing second, advancing to third on a flyout, and scoring on a wild pitch.

Utah Valley managed to tie it up in the third with a sacrifice fly after loading the bases, but Cincinnati's defense held strong, allowing just the one run.

The Bearcats took control in the fifth inning. With the bases loaded, Quinton Coats hit a grounder that led to a throwing error, scoring two runs. Enzo Infelise added another RBI, pushing the lead to 4-1.

Tyranski's grand slam in the seventh broke the game wide open, and another error by Utah Valley in the eighth allowed Cincinnati to extend their lead further.

The two teams are set to face off again on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. ET, as Cincinnati looks to continue their winning momentum.
