Big 12 play starts to take shape in Week 4, and Saturday is loaded from noon to night.
The slate opens with Baylor welcoming Colorado at noon on ESPN2. Both teams are 2-1, and this one gives each a chance to grab a clean early foothold in conference play. At the same time on TNT, Texas Tech hosts Sam Houston in an in-state matchup.
The afternoon gets busy fast. At 3:30 on FOX, No.
15 Utah heads to Ames to face Iowa State, a game that figures to bring plenty of energy. Also at 3:30 on FS1, UCF hosts TCU in Orlando.
Then comes a later kickoff with a little extra angle attached: Houston travels to Statesboro to meet Georgia Southern at 4 p.m. on ESPNU. Houston coach Willie Fritz was the head coach at Georgia Southern in 2014 and 2015, and he said it’s not a homecoming.
The evening window is stacked. Cincinnati hosts Kansas State at 7 p.m. on ESPN2 in what’s being billed as “Nipp at Night in Clifton.” West Virginia also gets Oklahoma State at 7 on FS1.
The night closes with Arizona on the road against Washington State at 7:30 on CBS, back on the old Pac-12 stomping grounds in Pullman.
