The University of Cincinnati women’s basketball team is set to close out their home schedule with a bang, hosting UCF for Senior Day this Saturday at Fifth Third Arena. The Bearcats will then wrap up their home slate against TCU on Wednesday night.
Recent Success on the Road

Senior standout Mya Perry was the star of the night, delivering a career-high 32 points and sinking five three-pointers, two of which were crucial in the final moments. This performance marked her third career game scoring 30 or more points.
Perry's sharpshooting has been a highlight this season, moving her into eighth place on UC’s single-season three-pointers made list with 71. She’s just two away from climbing to seventh.
Key Contributors Stepping Up
Reagan Jackson has been a consistent force, averaging 15.0 points on 46% shooting over her last three outings. Her contribution at BYU included 16 points, five rebounds, and four assists, marking her third consecutive game scoring in double figures.

Rising Stars Making Their Mark
Caliyah DeVillasee’s playmaking has been a revelation. Her 92 assists are the most by a Bearcat since 2021-22, and she’s on track to become just the fourth freshman in program history to reach 100 assists in a season.
Perry continues to be a scoring machine, ranking fifth in the Big 12 with 17.4 points per game. Her prowess from beyond the arc is unmatched, ranking second in both total made three-pointers and threes per game.
DeVillasee is also making waves, ranking 15th in the Big 12 in scoring and excelling in field goal percentage and assists. Her five 20-point games are the most by a Cincinnati freshman since 2002-03.
Torrence’s impact is felt on the boards, ranking eighth in the Big 12 in rebounds and contributing significantly to the team’s defensive efforts.
Team Dynamics and League Standings
The Bearcats have been relentless on the glass, leading the Big 12 and ranking 36th nationally in offensive rebounds per game. Their ability to control the boards has been a key factor in their success, as they have outrebounded opponents in 20 games this season.
Cincinnati's proficiency at the free-throw line is another strength, ranking fourth in the Big 12 for free throws made per game.
As they prepare for their final home games, the Bearcats are 10-2 when holding opponents to 69 points or fewer, showcasing their defensive tenacity.
