Cincinnati has laid out the full theme slate for its six home games in 2026, and the schedule is headlined by a major Oct. 24 date against Texas Tech.
That game falls during the University’s 100th Homecoming celebration and will also double as a tribute to the 50th James P. Kelly Athletics Hall of Fame class, which is set to be inducted the night before.
The Bearcats open at home on Sept. 5 against Boston College, with kickoff set for 3:30 p.m. on FOX. From there, the home schedule rolls into a “Nippert at Night” matchup with Western Carolina on Sept. 12 before Big 12 play arrives at Nippert Stadium on Sept. 26 against Kansas State.
Utah visits on Oct. 31, and Colorado closes out the home slate on Nov. 21.
Here’s how Cincinnati is asking fans to show up for each game:
- Sept. 5 vs. Boston College - Wear White Home Opener Spirit Day, open to kids who would like to participate in cheer and dance, featuring a special halftime routine.
- Sept. 12 vs. Western Carolina - Wear Black Junior Bearcat Appreciation, with registration for the 2026-27 Junior Bearcat Kids Club coming soon.
- Sept. 26 vs. Kansas State - Stripeout, with fans encouraged to wear red and black Youth Teams Day Stripe the Stadium! Mental Health Awareness
- Oct. 24 vs. Texas Tech - Wear Red 100th Homecoming Cincinnati will honor the 50th James P.
Kelly Athletics Hall of Fame class, which includes former football star Connor Barwin, men’s basketball coach Bob Huggins, track and field All-Americans Loretta Blaut and Wayne Mason, baseball career batting average leader Mike Kinnett, and women’s soccer record-setting goalkeeper Christy Hoffman.
- Oct. 31 vs. Utah - Wear Black Breast Cancer Awareness Children are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes to the game, but no masks will be allowed.
- Nov. 21 vs. Colorado - Wear Red Military Appreciation, recognizing the brave men and women of the U.S. Armed Force with military displays and special military integrations into gameday. Senior Night, honoring the 2026 seniors playing their final game at Nippert Stadium.
Tickets are already on sale, with season packages starting at $300. Season parking is available for $100 at Eden Garage.
Single-game tickets and Homecoming bundles are also available, though Cincinnati says the only way to guarantee a ticket to the Texas Tech Homecoming game on Oct. 24 right now is through one of the bundle options. One package pairs UC vs.
Texas Tech with UC vs. Western Carolina and starts at $85.
