Michael Jordan Stuns at 23XI Racing Victory with Iconic Sneakers

Michael Jordan electrifies the NASCAR scene as 23XI Racing clinches back-to-back victories, all while sporting eye-catching, unreleased Air Jordans.

Michael Jordan had plenty to celebrate this week, and he did it in style. With 23XI Racing clinching its second straight NASCAR Cup Series win to kick off the 2026 season, Jordan was front and center on pit road, sporting a pair of unreleased Air Jordan 4s that caught eyes both on and off the track.

The NBA legend watched as Tyler Reddick powered his way to victory in overtime at the Autotrader 400 at EchoPark Speedway, just a week after taking the Daytona 500. This victory places Reddick in elite company as only the sixth driver in Cup Series history to start a season with back-to-back wins, a feat last achieved in 2009.

For 23XI Racing, these victories are a much-needed boost after a previous season marked by inconsistency. Now, just two races in, the team is emerging as an early title contender.

And of course, Jordan made sure to mark the occasion in style, donning a lime/gray colorway of the Air Jordan 4s. Cameras captured the Chicago Bulls legend in these standout kicks, adding to the excitement of the day.

Jordan was also spotted earlier wearing Nigel Sylvester’s upcoming Air Jordan 4 “Bike Air” collaboration in the “Sail/Cinnabar” colorway. These unreleased sneakers, set to launch in May, feature a Sail upper with Cinnabar accents and replace the traditional “Nike Air” heel branding with “Bike Air,” a nod to Sylvester’s BMX roots.

Even with his history of celebrating championships, Jordan seemed momentarily at a loss for words after Reddick’s back-to-back triumphs. Reddick's victory at the Autotrader 400 made him the sixth driver in NASCAR Cup Series history to achieve consecutive wins at the start of a season.

“Holy mackerel!” Jordan exclaimed to FOX Sports’ Jamie Little.

“I don’t even know what to say. Tyler did an unbelievable job.

The whole team did an unbelievable job.”

Bubba Wallace, Reddick’s teammate at 23XI, was also in contention during the overtime, appearing ready to deliver another win for the team. Wallace led crucial laps late in the race and surged ahead during the extra sessions.

However, Reddick methodically advanced and took control on the final lap. Jordan acknowledged the mixed feelings that came with the finish.

“Look, I wanted [Reddick] to win,” he said. “I feel bad for Bubba, obviously, because he had an unbelievable day.

But Tyler drove his ass off, and I’m very happy for Tyler. I’m very happy for 23XI.”

This achievement is especially significant considering the team’s recent struggles. In 2025, Reddick didn’t secure a single win, and 23XI Racing managed just one victory overall.

Off the track, the organization faced a legal battle with NASCAR, eventually settling in December after several days in court. Now, with these early-season successes, 23XI Racing is making a statement and turning heads across the racing world.
