On this day in 1961, Bobby Hull scored his 100th career goal during a game against the Montreal Canadiens, becoming the third-fastest player to reach that milestone. Five years later, Hull broke records again by scoring his 51st goal of the season, surpassing the previous record held by Maurice Richard and Bernie Geoffrion. In 1969, Hull set a franchise record by scoring in his 10th consecutive game.
