AHL Unveils Bold New All-Star Jerseys With One Eye-Catching Twist

With the AHL All-Star Classic heading to Rockford, newly unveiled jerseys pay tribute to the host city's heritage in bold, division-specific designs.

The AHL’s brightest stars are heading to Rockford, and they’ll be doing it in style.

With the 2026 AHL All-Star Classic presented by BMO just around the corner, the league has officially unveiled the jerseys that will be worn during the two-day showcase in Rockford, Illinois. And there’s a strong local flavor baked into every thread. Designed in collaboration with the Rockford IceHogs, the AHL, and CCM, the four jerseys pay tribute to the host city-nicknamed “Screw City”-while spotlighting each of the league’s four divisions.

Each division gets its own distinct color pulled from the IceHogs’ primary palette: white for the Atlantic, red for the Central, gray for the North, and black for the Pacific. It’s a clean, bold look that ties the event to its host city while giving each division its own identity on the ice.

Fans looking to rep their division-or just add a sharp jersey to their collection-will have a chance to grab a limited number of authentic and replica Central Division jerseys starting at the All-Star Skills Competition on February 10 at the BMO Center.

Speaking of the Skills Competition, that’s where the action really heats up. On Tuesday, February 10 (8 p.m.

ET / 7 p.m. CT), the top talent from the Eastern Conference (Atlantic and North Divisions) will square off against their Western Conference counterparts (Central and Pacific) in seven head-to-head skills events.

It’s a fan-favorite for a reason-expect blazing-fast skates, pinpoint shooting, and a whole lot of flair.

Then, on Wednesday, February 11 (8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m.

CT), it’s time for the main event: the 2026 AHL All-Star Challenge. The format?

A 3-on-3, round-robin tournament featuring all four divisions. Each team will play three mini-games, each lasting eight minutes.

The two squads with the best records will meet in a final eight-minute showdown to crown the All-Star champion. It’s fast-paced, wide-open hockey that puts skill and creativity front and center-exactly what you want from an All-Star showcase.

But the All-Star Classic isn’t just about what happens on the ice. Earlier that same day, at noon ET / 11 a.m.

CT, the AHL will host its Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Ceremony. This year’s class is a strong one: Chris Bourque, Alexandre Giroux, Jim Wiemer, and Wendell Young will all be enshrined in the American Hockey League Hall of Fame, honoring their contributions to one of hockey’s most storied developmental leagues.

From honoring legends to showcasing the next wave of talent, the 2026 AHL All-Star Classic is shaping up to be a celebration of everything that makes this league special. And with Rockford as the backdrop, there’s no doubt the AHL is ready to put on a show.
