Bears
The Chicago Bears have made a notable addition to their offensive line by signing Jedrick Wills to a one-year deal. Wills, who hasn't seen action since 2024 due to a significant knee and hip injury while with the Browns, is eager to make his mark under head coach Ben Johnson.
Wills shared his enthusiasm, saying, “I know that Ben is an energetic coach. He loves the big guys up front, which is a positive for me.
The team did really good things last year, completely turning around the program. It was exciting to watch, and I’m thrilled to be here.”
Lions
Over in Detroit, linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez is gearing up for a big opportunity. With Alex Anzalone moving to Tampa Bay, Rodriguez is eyeing a starting role with the Lions.
“It’s a big opportunity,” Rodriguez commented. “I’m excited for Alex and his family.
It’s close to home for him. I’m just going to come in with the same mentality I had when I first got here.
It’s always about competition, putting my best foot forward, and seeing where it goes.”
Rodriguez is also feeling confident after recovering from knee surgery last year. “We started off with him in that room, and he’s seen it from Day 1,” he said about defensive coordinator Kelvin Sheppard. “Having that confidence in me as a player, I just want to play hard for him, my family, and prove him right.”
Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings have made a significant move by bringing in quarterback Kyler Murray. According to Albert Breer, Murray and his agent pinpointed Minnesota as the best fit before his release at the start of the new league year.
After a physical confirmed his recovery from a foot injury, Murray and head coach Kevin O’Connell found common ground and quickly finalized a deal, which includes a no-tag clause. O’Connell assured Murray he was the only quarterback option they were considering, viewing him as a potential long-term solution rather than just a temporary fix.
