Paige Shiver is moving into the NFL.
The former Michigan executive assistant has reportedly secured a job with the Chicago Bears, marking a fresh start after the public scandal that put her name in the middle of the Sherrone Moore fallout. The exact title of her new role has not been disclosed, but the move takes her out of the college game and into a professional organization with family ties already in place.
Shiver is the daughter of veteran Chicago Bears scout Jeff Shiver, which gives the reported hire an obvious connection to the Bears’ scouting world. Her arrival in Chicago has sparked plenty of conversation across sports platforms, especially because her departure from Michigan and the attention around her past relationship with former Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore are still very much part of the story.
Before this reported NFL move, Shiver worked as an executive assistant in the Michigan athletic department. She has also been open about the challenges she faced in that environment, according to earlier public statements.
Her off-field legal fight is still active. Earlier this month, Shiver filed a lawsuit against the university, accusing it of withholding public records tied to her relationship with the former coach.
Her legal team, led by attorney Julie Murphy, submitted six separate public records requests between February and June 2026. The filed documents say Michigan allegedly paid outside law firm Jenner & Block $12 million to investigate the scandal.
Michigan denied the requests, saying the records were part of an “ongoing investigation.” The lawsuit remains ongoing.
