Brandon Miller Sends Clear Message After Hornets Surge

Brandon Miller credits a supportive Hornets crowd as they surge toward the playoffs, snapping the Knicks' win streak and igniting fan enthusiasm.

It's a great time to be a Charlotte Hornets fan. As the saying goes, winning changes everything, and the Hornets are riding that wave.

With a commanding 114-103 victory over the New York Knicks at Spectrum Center, they've extended their winning streak to five games. This win not only halted the Knicks' own seven-game streak but also propelled Charlotte to a 39-34 record, tying them with the Orlando Magic and Miami Heat for eighth place in the Eastern Conference.

Brandon Miller highlighted their impressive pace and focus on “controlling the controllables” as key factors in their victory over the Knicks. He also didn’t miss the chance to credit the fans for their electrifying support.

“I gotta give another shoutout to the home crowd. I've never heard a New York game like this where Charlotte fans are cheering louder than the New York fans.

So I applaud them,” Miller shared in a post-game interview.

In the past, the Hornets struggled with low attendance due to losing seasons. However, this year tells a different story. They've set a new record for sellouts at Spectrum Center and reported a 7% increase in game attendance.

With a dynamic lineup featuring Miller, LaMelo Ball, Kon Knueppel, Miles Bridges, and Moussa Diabate, the Hornets have been turning heads all season. The acquisition of Coby White at the trade deadline has only fueled their momentum, with White issuing a bold “dangerous” declaration as the team surges forward.

The Hornets are on track to make their first playoff appearance in nine years, ending the NBA's longest active drought. The excitement in Charlotte is palpable, and the buzz around the Hornets is very real.
